Amps to Watts Calculator – DC, AC Single Phase & Three Phase
Easily convert amps (A) to watts (W) for DC, AC single phase, and AC three phase circuits. Enter the current in amps, voltage, and (for AC) the power factor to get the power in watts instantly.
        Amps to Watts Formula

            - DC: P (W) = I (A) × V (V)

            - AC Single Phase: P (W) = PF × I (A) × V (V)

            - AC Three Phase (Line-to-Line): P (W) = √3 × PF × I (A) × V (V)

        Example Calculations

            - DC: 10A, 12V → 10 × 12 = 120W

            - AC 1-Phase: 5A, 230V, PF 0.8 → 0.8 × 5 × 230 = 920W

            - AC 3-Phase: 20A, 400V, PF 0.9 → 1.732 × 0.9 × 20 × 400 = 12,470W

        Typical Power Factor Values
