Amps to Volts Calculator – DC, AC Single Phase & Three Phase
Easily convert amps (A) to volts (V) for DC, AC single phase, and AC three phase circuits. Enter the current in amps, power in watts, and (for AC) the power factor to get the voltage instantly.
Amps to Volts Formula
- DC: V (V) = P (W) ÷ I (A)
- AC Single Phase: V (V) = P (W) ÷ (PF × I (A))
- AC Three Phase (Line-to-Line): V (V) = P (W) ÷ (√3 × PF × I (A))
Example Calculations
- DC: 120W, 10A → 120 ÷ 10 = 12V
- AC 1-Phase: 920W, 5A, PF 0.8 → 920 ÷ (0.8 × 5) = 230V
- AC 3-Phase: 12,470W, 20A, PF 0.9 → 12,470 ÷ (1.732 × 0.9 × 20) = 400V
Amps to Volts Table (1200W, PF=1)
Current (A) | Voltage (V) |
1 | 1200 |
2 | 600 |
5 | 240 |
10 | 120 |
