CSPDCL electricity bills are calculated using slab-wise tariff rates, with different rates for different consumption ranges. Fixed charges based on sanctioned load, electricity duty (9%), and fuel adjustment charges are added to determine the final bill amount.
For urban domestic consumers, rates range from ₹3.00/kWh for 0-50 units to ₹6.50/kWh for above 300 units. Rural areas have slightly lower rates, from ₹2.80/kWh for 0-50 units to ₹6.20/kWh for above 300 units.
