Voltage Drop Formula
- Vdrop = 2 × L × I × R / 1000
Example Calculations
- Vin = 230V, I = 10A, L = 50m, R = 0.0178Ω/km → Vdrop = 2 × 50 × 10 × 0.0178 / 1000 = 0.018V
- Vin = 120V, I = 5A, L = 100m, R = 0.02Ω/km → Vdrop = 2 × 100 × 5 × 0.02 / 1000 = 0.02V
