kVA to Amps Formula
- AC Single Phase: I (A) = S (kVA) × 1000 ÷ V (V)
- AC Three Phase (Line-to-Line): I (A) = S (kVA) × 1000 ÷ (√3 × V (V))
Example Calculations
- AC 1-Phase: 2.3kVA, 230V → 2.3 × 1000 ÷ 230 = 10A
- AC 3-Phase: 13.856kVA, 400V → 13.856 × 1000 ÷ (1.732 × 400) = 20A
